meDear all,

The Luxury market has changed over the last twenty years, raising new challenges, and perspectives of doing business. The increasing competition, together with a constant seeking of short term profitability,  have created tougher conditions for Luxury brands, forcing them to enlarge their offer in order to attract more customers. As a result, the luxury market has moved from scarce production, to mass production. We no longer call this : “Prestige” but “Mass-tige”. The democratization of luxury constitutes in fact a major challenge for luxury brands which must protect their image while diversifying their offer.

I would like to illustrate, despite the fact that the luxury market is no longer reserved for an exclusive elite, there are still great brands that strive to remain authentic, and devoted to their Core competences. I believe that behind each luxury brand, there is an Icon product associated to it, which represents for me true Luxury.

We are in a period where brands must move forward combining Tradition and Modernity.

Here are some of the topics you will find on this blog : Watches & Jewelry, Technology, Cars Yachts…

Feel free to right down any comments

Best,

Chris
